Illustration Certificate
Learn the essentials of an illustration practice through topics such as creating visual imagery based on text; moving from rough imagery to finished visuals; digital and analog illustration techniques; and insights into the illustration trade and professional opportunities.
Total cost: Variable depending on coursework; approximately $1305 noncredit, $5120 for credit.

STUDENTS WILL:
- Develop and sharpen their technical and conceptual illustration skills.
- Explore traditional and nontraditional illustration forms.
- Learn to clearly communicate and tell stories through visual imagery.
- Understand the illustration trade and professional skills required.
COURSES
For the Illustration Foundations certificate, take three courses in the Illustration topic area. Two of the courses must meet for a minimum of 5 weeks or longer. Select classes apply to the certificate.
